By operating as a self-pay practice, we can offer immediate, flexible access to occupational therapy without the delays, limitations, or other barriers to care often dictated by insurance companies.

• Faster Access to Therapy: When challenges arise, getting help quickly is essential. Because we don’t rely on insurance authorizations, we can often see clients within a day.

• Tailored, Family-Centered Goals: Insurance often requires children to meet certain arbitrary criteria before approving services. At bwellbaby, we believe every child deserves support when needed. We’ll work with you to set personalized goals based on what’s best for your child and family.

• Flexible Session Frequency and Duration: Insurance can limit the number and length of sessions. In our private pay model, you and I decide on the best therapy frequency and session length to ensure steady progress and the best outcomes for your child.

• No Surprises: Unlike other providers you may have worked with in the past, we provide you with full transparency of our fees so there’s never a surprise.

Comprehensive Evaluation

(75-90 minutes) $250*

Follow Up Appointments

(45-55 minutes) $135*

• We accept all major credit cards, HSA and FSA cards.

• As a courtesy, superbills are provided for potential reimbursement from your health insurance plan.

Lactation and Breastfeeding Services

Are you providing your baby with breastmilk? Or is that your goal?

If you are a lactating parent, your consultation(s) may be covered by your health insurance provider.  bwellbaby, LLC is contracted with The Lactation Network and Wildflower Health to expand access to care.  To verify your benefits, click the appropriate link below.

After completing the insurance verification, be sure to complete our intake form below to get started.

If your insurance is not covered by these companies, we require payment at the time of service and we will supply you with a “superbill” which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement for out-of-network benefits. 

A physician referral is NOT required*.

North Carolina is an open-access state meaning a prescription for lactation or occupational therapy services is not needed. *Your health insurance plan may require a referral for reimbursement purposes.
