What is occupational therapy?
Occupational therapy (OT) helps children develop the necessary skills to participate in daily activities (occupations) and achieve greater independence.
Occupational therapists use a holistic approach, taking into consideration the child's individual strengths, limitations, and their environment. I create tailored interventions that incorporate activities and exercises to improve feeding skills, motor skills, sensory processing skills, cognitive skills, social skills, and emotional regulation. The Occupational Therapy Journey
It's all about you and your baby.
Schedule an inquiry call. Click the link below to send me a message and we will schedule a 15-minute call at a time that is convenient for you. During the call, I will get a sense of what your concerns are and let you know how I can help.
Receive a comprehensive evaluation from the comfort of your home. Through discussing your concerns and your baby's history, observation, and testing, I determine your baby’s strengths and challenges. I will provide you with a full written report.
Next, we set goals and create a plan TOGETHER. YOU decide what goals you would like to work on and how often you would like services (typically 1-2 times per week).
Weekly in-home visits to address your goals. It is important for a caregiver (parent, nanny) to be present during these sessions so that you can carryover the activities. Some visits may be conducted at daycare if needed.
Once your baby has achieved their new skills, it’s time to celebrate and graduate!
